Some relevant narratives on Carin are ones about reading, this is because reading is an essential tool in life that many take for granted. Reading is how we get to pass down stories, that are true or made up to teach a lesson. If we could not read we could not write. If we could not read we could not understand signs that keep us safe. some stories that show this importance is a road to failure because you have to fail before you can succeed. A few others are The Long, Quiet Hallway, Living in a Fiarytale, The Little Boy and the Book, Education in Africa and the mean teacher. These are good examples of reading and will be important to my project.
