When I first started in the English class I had a hard time finding a balance between they say and what my ideas were.
However, I started to be able to connect they say to I say while still being clear that I am not just agreeing but I am saying what they have said connects to the idea of mine. For this project it is how sponsors have a large impact on literacy narratives, I was able to explain they say and then place my idea that it is a sponsors job to be that influence.
Embedding quotes are something I struggle with but I have a great improvement in this by making sure that the quote would flow with my sentence instead of just placing it in the middle of my paragraph.
In this project, I feel I was able to really eliminate the amount of summary I had and focused more on the ideas and meaning behind the quote and how it can affect other students in their learning.
